Why "WORDS" ?

Hello everybody and special hello for my friends, and for those offended by "Hello", "Al Salam Allekum" (I come in peace to you) our muslim greeting.

This is my first chance to talk to world, thank to the internet. I 've been here online since 1994 but this is my first attempt to talk to the world. I was looking for a name to the blog and I chose "WORDS", though I may post designs, photos, drawings etc. but still words represent humans, represent thought, truth, lies, love, hatred. Words are actually the human way to communicate and I picked English being the most spoken language on the planet so I can reach more people.

Some may say "A picture is worth 1000 words" and I reply snickering; "But ... don't you need words to say that ???"

I am Mohamed Elwan, born 10 March 1960 and live in Egypt. I am one of billions (maybe trillions) of humans born and lived and died or will one day die on that 3rd planet from the sun called by us humans "Earth". I have nothing to distinguish me from any of the others but still after all I am very unique like everyone of us (except for cloning technologies, more on that later).

This is my first attempt at writing. This place will hold a lot of information (I hope). I created "Words" to talk to my friends, to make new friends and to publish some useful information if I can to everybody. I will discuss various subjects, music, art, computers , friendship, love and maybe politics at a point. I may not be able to discuss religion because I do not want to get to grey areas, I have my own faith and everyone has his (so please dear Muslim friends, I DO NOT want o hear any comment about the first line of the blog and how staring with "Hello" will take to directly to "Hell").

I guess I talked enough for the inro and so soon we will start.
